“We are absolutely delighted that we chose Kate to photograph our elopement ceremony. With only the two of us and our two daughters in attendance, we appreciated that capturing a substantial and varied collection of photographs could present certain challenges due to the intimate nature of the occasion. However, Kate exceeded all expectations.
Kate was incredibly flexible, both in her approach to the photography and in adapting to the unique setting of our wedding. Our remote location threw up some unexpected surprises for Kate, including transporting the groom across a field on a quad bike, capturing photographs while following a tractor, and moving between multiple locations throughout the shoot. She handled everything with professionalism, enthusiasm and ease, ensuring the entire experience was completely stress-free. At no point did she make us feel as though our requests or arrangements were an inconvenience.
Our two daughters took to Kate immediately. One of our children is usually very reluctant to have her photograph taken, so establishing that level of comfort was no small achievement. Both girls were happily chatting to Kate throughout, which helped make the day feel even more special for the whole family.
Kate arrived with plenty of creative ideas of her own, while remaining equally open to suggestions from us and our daughters. The entire process felt natural, relaxed and enjoyable, never staged or forced. As a result, we received a collection of truly beautiful photographs that perfectly captured the spirit of our day. We were also impressed by the speed with which the images were delivered. “We can’t recommend Kate enough!!! My wife and I recently had our wedding in Perth Scotland and found Kate on social media (great place to see pictures and photos etc) and we concluded quickly this was exactly who we needed for our wedding!
The photos are beyond incredible! We get so used to photos on our phones and filters etc we forget just how good photographs look when a professional with a professional camera takes them. We have beautiful posed shots and stunning natural/candid shots - there are some amazing photos where upon reviewing, my wife and I were both saying to each other “we don’t remember seeing Kate there to take that photo”, she was like a ninja.
On top of that, we feel we need to address just how lovely and genuine Kate is!
